I really like this picture, I must have drawn it on one of my few "inspired" days when I was in the groove.
I drew it in ball point pen while I was in class, so you can still see the sketches if you look hard enough
as for why it's green; I had a habit in high school of drawing on the back of the "Student Announcements" (or any piece of blank paper really) and I can tell you one thing for sure...it was pizza day in the cafeteria on Thyrsday, May 26, 2005! now who wouldn't be thrilled with important news like that
